Get your energy levels up.

Just be mindful about avoiding anything with added sugar.

Get a good night’s sleep.

It’s important to get a good night’s sleep whenever possible, for the sake of how you feel and your overall appearance. Sleeping well will help you avoid weight gain and keep your skin looking brighter and fresher. If you have difficulty sleeping, consider whether you are sabotaging your own rest by eating too much or drinking alcohol or caffeine right before bedtime – or having too much screen time. You can improve your sleep by doing things like getting enough exercise throughout the day, and sticking to a schedule.

Declutter your physical space.

A lot of people are naturally inclined to be neat and organized. And others are not. If you fall into the latter category, you may need to make a little more effort to keep your living and workspaces tidy. But doing so will be beneficial because humans just tend to think better and feel better when they are not surrounded by clutter. Also, if your home area is clutter-free, open and airy, it can become the positive retreat you need after a long day at work.

How to feel great about how you look.

It helps to have clothing you feel comfortable in that is also stylish and flattering. While clothing shopping can be frustrating for a variety of reasons, try to find a few outfits that you feel happy in, and add some accessories. You can curate your own unique look with accent pieces like a brightly colored scarf or striking jewelry. Most importantly, cultivate a wardrobe that fits your profession and where you want to see yourself. When you find a balance between looking great for you and looking great for work, the results can be striking. You may land a promotion or start to feel great confidence in regular business meetings.

Taking care of your skin.

Having a good skincare routine can help you feel happier about your appearance. And since skincare happens from the inside out and the outside in, it can also be part of your health regimen. Cutting down on sugar, getting a lot of water, and protecting your skin from the sun are all important. And in the era of mask-wearing, you may also want to have a method of dealing with “maskne” – that is, the acne that can develop due to friction and bacteria buildup under masks. Keep your mask clean, and minimize bacteria by using a therapeutic mouthwash. Keeping your face clean and well moisturized also will help.
